Choose by the job the tape must perform, not by color or product name. A suspended visual barricade is evaluated for unwind, span behavior, print readability, and tear resistance. Adhesive floor tape transfers a pressure-sensitive layer to concrete, epoxy, tile, metal, or another compatible surface; it is not intended for tying between cones. Buried Tape Starts With the Utility-Locating Plan

Tie approval to an identifiable production-intent sample and written acceptance limits. Record material, thickness, width, color, legend, print repeat, winding, packaging, and test results so the production lot can be compared with the approved construction. Accelerated weathering or laboratory peel results should not be converted directly into a guaranteed outdoor life or universal surface claim without relevant field correlation.
